What a beautiful short film.
Based in a time when same-sex relationships were not only frowned upon, but truly had to be held in deep secret, this erotic tale does a splendid job of capturing the intimate glee of two people in forbidden love.
With one playing a barkeep, her frame thin and dressed in man's attire, and the other more feminine and deliciously thick, this contrast of the couple helps place a nice touch of authenticity to their situation.
Once alone and with the bar locked, the two start off their secretly precious time together with a romantic dance, before delvng into much more affectionate bonding.
This story is a beautiful reminder that no one has the right of deciding the happiness of others.
It's not enough to merely tolerate, for each and every one of us seek something more.
