Deadwood Duology
It's been a couple of months since I left Deadwood.
Three cases have come into my agency since, and all have been solved and sent to a file cabinet in storage.
One thing has stayed consistent; my intrigue with the past.
Dirk's journal is still in my possession. Not on a bookshelf to easily be discovered by a browsing visitor. Ironically, it's somewhat concealed beneath my mattress.
No matter how close or far it is, it continues to invade my thoughts.
